NEBA blog: Recognizing a business opportunity

OpportunityWe often hear somebody say that he or she would start a business if they only could find a good business idea to start with. NEBA starts operations in Nigeria

North European Business Academy (NEBA) has agreed to co-operate with Tuxconn, a Finland based international consulting company. The purpose of the co-operation is to start operations in Nigeria. Tuxconn will provide Business Start Up training based on NEBA’s online training courses.

The co-operation agreement was made by the founding partner Ms Sumita Sahu of Tuxconn and the founder and chairman of NEBA, Mr Jouni Suonpää. In Nigeria the operations will be taken care by Mr Ossai Ilome, the Nigerian country leader for Tuxconn.

The NEBA Business Start Up program is designed to help people to become entrepreneurs and make a living for themselves. The NEBA training is answering the needs of Nigerian young people. Ability to learn, solve the problems and evaluate oneself are the success factors of working life and those factors are strengthened through NEBA business training.

95% of our students recommend NEBA training to their friends!

When someone is interested in starting a new business, the NEBA online training and materials will help them and provide the information they need. The feedback from the participants of a NEBA business training course in Helsinki was overwhelming: 95% of the students said that they would recommend NEBA training to their friends!

The students who come from many different parts of the world – from places like New Zealand, China, Thailand, India, Namibia, Canada, Chile and Brazil – said that NEBA online training offered them information and ideas on how to start a new business and also helped them to see their potential and abilities as entrepreneurs. The NEBA course was helpful in developing the business idea and in making a realistic business plan.

NEBA blog: Future orientation of start up entrepreneurs

A few years ago we did a small study as we wanted to know how new start up entrepreneurs see their future as entrepreneurs. We posed them several questions about their motivation to learn what had been the main reasons to become entrepreneurs. We also wanted to know how they see their main success factors. What is their main goal? Do they see the business mainly as a means of employing themselves or do they aim to grow the company and employ other people too? Or is it about making a dream come true?

Finnish National Agency for Education coordinates the governmental programme Education Finland which is a national education export program, offering Finnish educational know-how and learning solutions globally.

NEBA (North European Business Academy) is an official member of Education Finland programme. The members are among the best Finnish education institutions, education technology or solution providers, and they have been granted the right to use the membership logo until the end of 2018.
